Beansprouts Preschool is a licensed family child care preschool program serving children ages 2 1/2 to 5 years. We operate from 8am to 1pm M-F. - What We Do -
Beansprouts Preschool creates an outdoor preschool environment in a natural backyard setting. We want every child to feel seen, heard, and loved. We provide children with responsive teaching methods and use a developmentally appropriate curriculum to promote children’s all-around development. Our goal is to create a community of families that understand and embrace a similar early childhood educational philosophy in order to create cohesiveness in the lives of children. Above all, children are encouraged to play, because play is the most meaningful way in which they learn.

The Beansprouts classroom promotes emotional security, creativity, cognitive reasonining, social skills, autonomy, curiosity, and an intrinsic motivation to learn. Warm, responsive, respectful teaching practices ensure that children's social and emotional needs are met. A child's fullest potential can be met when teachers are attentive to all areas of the child's development.

I sent my youngest to Beansprout until the age of 5, Stephanie the owner captured our hearts and our kids hearts in a blink of an eye. the atmosphere is home and family like. Stephanie has a progressive philosophy which is tailored to each and every kid needs and level of development with constant positive reinforcement. Behind every activity there is a well thought intention, it is truly amazing to watch Stephanie and her staff at work and how the kids follow her direction with joy. it is a highly recommended daycare with plenty of "community-feeling" and after school activities from holiday parties and camping for those who are interested.
Beansprouts Preschool is a special place. It's a haven in the silicon valley where kids get to be kids - they create, explore, play, learn through experiences, get dirty, run around, and play some more. The community is awesome, communication with parents is strong and insightful, the teachers are passionate and involved and most importantly the kids LOVE it! We searched from the south bay up to Palo Alto to find a preschool that felt like home - at Beansprouts everyday we were confident that our child was not only safe but cared for and loved. We couldn't be happier with our experience at Beansprouts.
Stephanie and the teachers at Beansprouts helped develop a love for learning in my boys which was my goal for a preschool. I don't trust many people with my children and I know when I drop them off that they're safe, happy, loved and respected. They spend a ton of time outside which was also important to me! I couldn't have asked for a better preschool for my boys!
